December 2024: A Month for Reflection

  • Dec 2, 2025
  • 2 min read

As we close out 2025, this month invites us into a softer pace and a deeper look inward. Our final WBEB gathering of the year will centre on Reflection—pausing to notice what this past year has offered, how we’ve shifted, and what has moved i

n and through us. This post holds our monthly prompts, a grounding practice, and a few resources to support your personal reflection.

PROMPTS

Use these questions to guide your own year-end reflection. Bring a journal, a cup of tea, or simply your breath.

  • How are they different?

  • From opportunities to obstacles, heart-bursts to heartbreaks, growth to grief, which wise words, inspiring characters, or innate qualities moved you from last December to this one?

  • Which wise words, inspiring characters, or inner qualities shaped your path this year?

  • What is asking to be honored, released, or carried forward?

PRACTICE

Here’s a simple, grounding reflection practice you can do anytime before our call:

A 10-Minute Reflection Ritual

  1. Find a quiet moment. Sit somewhere comfortable, with as few distractions as possible.

  2. Close your eyes and breathe. Let your exhales lengthen.

  3. Let the year play lightly in your mind. Don’t force memories—let them arrive.

  4. Notice what stands out. A moment, a challenge, a shift, a conversation, a person.

  5. Ask:

    • What did this teach me?

    • How did this change me?

    • What do I want to remember?

  6. Write down one thing you want to bring into the new year.

  7. Thank yourself for the reflection. Close with one deep breath.
